We made it – landed in Paris at 6:40 am. We had 2 good flights although a crazy woman and her two children sat in front of us on the flight from Washington to Paris. We just drank more wine to deal with the situation πΎπ.
Our Airbnb apartment is exactly like the photos and was very easy to find. We got here by about 9am. We then decided to walk to Montmartre which is fairly close. After sitting all night it was great to walk around. We have 3 days in Paris before we pick up our rental car and head for Reims. Got to make a planπ

Bonjour Mark et Mary, merci pour les nouvelles and glad you made it safely to Paris. Not much fun having a noisy neighbour on a flight! I am getting ready for the orientation of the new volunteers, only two this year, and we starts today. some logistical things to work and getting documents prepared (boring work stuff, you know) Sadhana went to school yesterday to start to organize her office and get ready for TUESDAY !!! the VP called to say they had an extra 20 visa students for the ESL program (5 levels) that have not been assessed so will need to determine their English level (FYI she worked 3 days last week doing assessments, with visa students but they were backed up and short staff to be able to process them all. This is good news in that the her school program is not shrinking but at the same time, her numbers in her class will be going up, always a challenge in an ESL class which are suppose to be cap at 23. Aidan has school orientation tomorrow for his program so he will have a better idea of what he will be doing over the coming year. Sophie is “hanging” and doing an English assignment due next week. Bon voyage
